Oh my gosh guys... last amv for like a really long time. First semester of college in like a week and a half. Activity (at least uploads) is gonna go waayyyyyy down over the next couple months.
ANYWAYS, Look! A real full! 3:15! Just for you guys haha. I worked a full 4 days on this one. Hours on end and finally finished it.
Anime wise, Sakamichi no Apollon has been my anime for the summer. A story set in 1966 about the unlikely friendship between a stiff, classically trained pianist and a rough and tough, jazz-loving-drummer. Thier loves, their losses, their lives. Seeing as the anime was highly centered around jazz music I was immediately enchanted by it (I LOVE JAZZ), but there is really so much more to the series to love. The settle symbolism and the beautiful simplicity with a twist of reality.I highly recommend this anime to anyone is looking for something that will keep them wonderfully attached. Also, near the end of the video, I don't know if I made it clear but Sentaro (drummer guy), kinda makes a deal with God to save his sister and suddenly disappears. After 8 long years, he finally finds him at a church in the countryside as a priest in training. Btw, Kids on the Slope is the English title.

Song wise, the song is from the OST, actually. Notice the piano, and the drums, and the voice *cough cough* ANYWAYS, the song is relevant to the anime because in the second to last episode the trio plans to perform the song at their school festival and while practicing they go around and say their favorite things. Kaoru (aka glasses and piano guy) doesn't tell the others, but admits to himself that his favorite things are times like these where he can spend time with the girl he loves and his best friend. *tear tear* The song was definitely a different style than anything I've ever done before. I hope I didn't butcher it.
